E. Muzzey Lexington, Mass Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of yours of 25th ins [instant], requesting record of service of Irwin[?] Gaitely, late [illegible] Company B, 63 Regiment N. Y. Vol, Mass.[?] and by Direction of the Adjutant-General, to say in reply thereto, that the records of this Bureau show, that he was enrolled or mustered in August 14. 1861 and discharged Jany 4 1863 for disability.
