Selectman, Lexington.
Dear Sir :
Enclosed herewith find anproval of your Re-
turn of State Aid for the month of May last .
In the case of Sarah F.Warren, applicant for aid under Chap-
ter 30I ,we must decline to authorize the payment of aid on the
papers presented.
The information as to her health, resources,&c. is very mea-
gre , and as the Selectmen failed to reconmend the aid, or even to
endorse the Certificate of Reasons, it is concluded that the case
was not regarded as pressing.
There will probably be no objection to granting an increase
of $I.00 to William Plummer, if you think his needs require.
Very truly yours,
COMMISSIONER OF STATE AIDI
