1. -SONG BY THE ASSEMBLY.—Auld Lang Syne.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot, Or call it gave for patriots brave
And never brought to mind, To meet the invading foe,
Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And stake their lives their homes to save,
And things of auld lang syne? And guard from nameless woe.
For auld lang syne we meet to-day, It held throughout full many a year
For auld lang syne, The hearse that bore the dead—
To view the house our fathers built It journeyed far to shelter toil
In days of auld Lang syne. Where Parker earned his bread.
It's passed through many a changing scene Now here we place the humble house
Since first they placed it here; Our fathers built of yore,
The smoke-of battle'round it rolled, That it may teach through coming days
Where men thought not of fear; The truth their living bore,—
And from it bell the sound rang out That duty's call.should sacred be
To summon men to prayer, To every patriot heart,
Or told some friend had passed away And none is worthy to be free
Beyond the reach of care. Who beareth not his part. _

3. OUR FATHERS.—Tune, "America."
Gone are the brave and good, Ye trees, that on this sod
Who here, in peril, stood Grow where our fathers trod,
In Freedom's name. Guard well the spot.—
Peace to the noble dead! In faith they dared the sea,
The light that on their head In truth they would be free,
A hundred years have shed For love of liberty,
Shall never wane. They faltered not.
Thou high and holy One,
Whose care for sire and son
Ali nature fills,—
While day shall break and close,
While night her crescent showe,
Oh, let Thy light repose
On these our hills.
