James S. Munroe, Esq,
Dear Sir;
Our estimate of cost of laving proposed drain in Forest Street,
Lexington, is as follows:
For a 10 inch pipe from 'Olen-a''s rouse on extension of Forest Street to- centre of
Muzze,v Street., thence through the gindge land a 12 inch pipe to Vine Brook, 400. 00
For a 10 inch pipe in street,enterIna Vine Brook through 12 inch pipe as above,
but starting' at school house drain, - 355. 00
Por a 10 inch gripe fronj Mean's house to, present 12 inch drain, including cost
of lo*ering 12 inch pi-ce, $350.00
Tor 10 inch pion from school house drain to present 12 inch pibe i-ncludinq cost
of lowerina 1?. inch pioe,
In the above the cost of trenching' is taken at about 25 cents per foot and
cost of p}pe 80M off of list price. The cost- of 8 inch oiue xould be about
eight cents per foot less than for 10 inch or a difference of about $24 in the
last estimate.
Yours truly,
