Gentlemen
We the undersigned citizens &
taxpayers of Lexington,
learning that a proposition
has been made by
Col. W. A. Tower to present
to the town a library
building provided the
town will furnish a
suitable location therefor,
respectfully petition your
honorable board to call
a special town meeting
to consider the said proposition
and take such action in relation
thereto as may be deemed
advisable
