FUND FOR LEXINGTON BOARD
February 23, 2026

Katzenback, Executive Clerk to the Select Board
1) Money Available
State Street Account as of January 31, 2026
Ending Principal Balance $277,052.16
Ending Income Balance $25,130.69
Total Ending Balance $302,182.85
Mr. Lucente noted that approximately 20,000 has been received to date since the November 2025
mailing of the Fund for Lexington Annual Appeal, of which $4,500 was received via online
donations.
2) Human Services Report and Requests for Funds
Ms. Bickelman reported the following activity for the Human Services funds dispersed for the period
of 11/1/2025 – 1/31/0206:
Human Services Report
Human Services Emergency Fund - $393.78 was distributed to residents facing emergencies
related to their rent.
Holiday Program – Assisted 51 families with meals, gift cards and tree vouchers
Gift Cards - a total of 15cards disbursed this period
Total of 26 Transportation passes
3) Recreation Department Report and Request for funds
Ms. Battite was unable to attend the meeting. Mr. Lucente reviewed the submitted Recreation
Scholarship Fund report. The Recreation Scholarship Fund is used to assist children from low-
income families to attend Town sponsored summer programs. Recreation Department thanks the
Fund for Lexington for their support. The Recreation Department respectfully requested $15,000 from the
Fund for Lexington to support recreation scholarship awards.
Upon a motion duly made and seconded, by roll call, the Fund for Lexington Board voted 7-0 to approve
$15,000 to be dispersed from the Fund for Lexington to the recreation scholarship program to assist residents
in need for recreation programming.
4) Approval of October 20, 2025 Meeting Minutes
On a motion duly made and seconded, by roll call, the Fund for Lexington Board voted 7-0 to
approve the October 20, 2025 Meeting Minutes.
5) Proposed Meeting dates
Mr. Lucente confirmed the following as the upcoming meeting date for Fund for Lexington Board:
June 22, 2026
October 19, 2026
