Open Session Minutes
June 4, 2026
A meeting of the Lexington Board of Assessors was called to order at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday June 4, 2026, in the
Reed Meeting Room, Town Office Building. Gregory A Johnson, Chairman, Edmund C. Grant, Member
and Casimir Groblewski, Member, were present as well as Michael E. Golden, Director of Assessing, and Cheryl
A. Draper, Administrative Assessor.

Vendor News & Views: None
Director’s Report: Mr. Golden gave an overview of the happenings in the office with getting the 1st quarter tax bill
to the collector and gave an overview of the new housing developments. Mr. Golden will send the Board the
Planning Department summaries when he receives them.
New Business: None
VOTE: At 3:27 p.m. upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 3-0 by roll call to
enter Executive Session under Purpose 7 to deliberate Personal Exemption Applications and 3ABCs applications,
as discussion in Open Session may have a detrimental effect on the litigation position of the Town.
At 4:00 p.m. the Board reconvened into Open session.
ADJOURN
Vote: Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 3-0 by roll call to adjourn at
4:01 p.m.
