Meeting started at 7:00 with social updates
• Attendees: Johnny Cole (Principal), Stef Harvey (Assistant Principal), Casey Taylor,
Remy Coombs (Teacher), Katina Lawdis (OT), and parents Joyce Dvorak, Christina
Finegold, Darien and Beth Bristol
Minutes: The minutes from the previous meeting were approved at 7:06. Five members were in
favor.

Focus Area: Review of Focus Areas and feedback from stakeholders. The activity prompted
each team to review the feedback and determine 1) low cost change that can happen 2) one
policy or structural change
The groups split into two and each group completed a note sheet ( insert here)
Other Updates
- Parents will be invited to the Moving on Ceremony for 8th graders - there will be plenty of
information sent ahead of time for families
Feedback from Group 1
- Taylor and Stef Group shared the point of restructuring the schedule as a wish,
rethinking in general how the schedule is compiled.
Feedback from Group 2
- Team felt there was a lack of information given to make informed decisions on cuts,
resources, etc
- Recommendation to have an excel sheet with " Teacher Wishes"
- JC Clarified that we cannot use amazon to order from and encouraged the group
to share these suggestions on the macro level with school committee and
community meetings
- JC Clarified this activity as a starting place to think about the different buckets in
the plan and what resources we can provide in "real time"
Overall Framing for the Discussion
JC reminded the group yes we are in a financial challenging times, and the priority is to not
reduce staffing but to find ways to keep the current structure
