Open Session Minutes
April 7, 2026
A meeting of the Lexington Board of Assessors was called to order at 4:OOp.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in the
Reed Meeting Room, Town Office Building. Gregory A Johnson, Chairman, Edmund C. Grant, Member
and Casimir Groblewski, Member, were present as well as Michael E. Golden, Director of Assessing, and Cheryl
A. Draper, Administrative Assessor.

Vendor News & Views: None
Director's Report: Mr. Golden commented that he is currently working with HR to change his previous role from
Assistant Director to a more general position to cover a number of tasks.
New Business: None
VOTE: At 4:15 p.m., upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 3-0 by roll call to
enter Executive Session under Purpose 7 to deliberate Real Estate Abatement Applications and Personal
Exemption Applications, as discussion in Open Session may have a detrimental effect on the litigation position of
the Town.
At 6:47 p.m. the Board reconvened into Open session.
ADJOURN
Vote: Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 3-0 by roll call to adjourn at 6:48
p.m.
