Board of Assessors Meeting
Open Session Minutes
March 10, 2026
A meeting of the Lexington Board of Assessors was called to order at 4:00p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in
the Reed Meeting Room, Town Office Building. Gregory A Johnson, Chairman, and Casimir Groblewski, Member,
were present as well as Michael E. Golden, Director of Assessing, and Cheryl A. Draper, Administrative Assessor.
Absent: Edmund C. Grant, Member
Public Comment Time: None
Vendor News & Views: Mr. Golden commented that we are finalizing the Vision contract.
Director’s Report:
After Chairman Johnson congratulated Michael Golden on his appointment as Director of Assessing, Mr. Golden
reported that he is in the process of notifying all vendors and Department of Revenue (DOR) contacts of the
change. He also noted that the Town’s attorneys, Tony Ambriano and Matthew Thomas, are currently working on
commercial abatements.
Mr. Golden further raised the issue of Board members may need dedicated email accounts to conduct business
through Gateway and with the Department of Revenue. He stated that he will consult with the IT Department
regarding the creation of Lexington email addresses for Board members but advised that they may need to use
their personal email accounts if town-issued addresses are not available.
New Business: None
VOTE: At 4:15 p.m., upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 2-0 by roll call to
enter Executive Session under Purpose 7 to deliberate Real Estate Abatement Applications and Personal
Exemption Applications, as discussion in Open Session may have a detrimental effect on the litigation position of
the Town.
At 6:59 p.m. the Board reconvened into Open session.

Vote: upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 2-0 by roll call to adjourn at 7:00
p.m.
