practices
o Caregivers are encouraged to discuss
questions around report cards with
teachers
o Report cards are reviewed by
administrators prior to them being
released to caregivers
• MCAS Prep
o Rory spoke about all of the
preparations that are underway
o Overview letter will be sent home;
includes dates, MCAS resources and
practice tests
o Small groups developed in conjunction
with Special Educators and Service
Providers; accommodations for
students are included in small group
documents
o Google Spaces used for grade-level
messaging regarding MCAS testing
o DESE is responsive with any questions
o OAP schedule needs to be adjusted for
MCAS days; this is in progress
o Printing and gathering of all materials-
testing tickets, scratch paper, pencils,
accommodations lists...

• Focusing on closing gaps and student growth,
