Sidewalk at Entrance to Brid�e School Mr. McSweeney read a letter of thanks ta James M. McLaughlin for the work that his campany did to �rovide a sidewalk at the entrance ta Bridge School. Battle Green Guide License - Kenneth M. Smith TJpon motion duly made and secanded, it was voted to issue a Battle Green Guide License to Kenneth M, Smith af 44 Grant Street. VFW Request for Monument to World War II Veterans Mr. Dailey reviewed plans made at a meeting he had with representatives of the Design � '' Advisary Committee, Historic Districts Cammission, Town Celebrations Committee, � , L,e�ungton Center Committee and Veterans of Fareign Wars cancerning the apprapriate design and placement of a monument to hanor all who served from Lexington during World War II. The monument planned to be in place at the ceremonies marking the end of the Second World War will be located at the site of the Visitors Center ne�rt to the monuments of the U.S.S. Lexington. E�ension of Minuteman Bikewav as Commuter Bikeway along Hartwell Avenue 1Vlany safety, design and cost issues were discussed cancerning the connection of the Minuteman Bikeway to provide for cammuter biking from the Hartwell Avenue area. tJpon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to refer the request of the Bikeway Committee and the Friends of the Bikeway Committee to the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee far a recommendation.
