An ad -hoc subcommittee committee of the Lexington Planning Board, the Residential Policy Ad -Hoc
Committee will assist the Board in its review and analysis of residential development and zoning by:
synthesizing public comments and facilitating the public process;
- analyzing residential development trends in Lexington;
conducting research and analysis on residential policy precedents and proposals;
soliciting insight from the various Town Boards and Committees with an interest in residential
policy; and
drafting a report to the Planning Board along with any potential regulations and Town Meeting
articles that might be proposed
Preiirninary recommendations are due to the Board by ,September 2015, with final recommendations by
December 2015.
Criteria for Membership:
The Ad -Hoc Committee will consist of members who have an interest in the future of residential policy
in Lexington with background in skills beneficial to the work of the committee.
The committee is composed of five members. Two of which must be members of the Planning Board,
while the remaining three members 'are appointed by the Planning Board.
Prior to serving as a member of this Committee, members are required to:
1. Acknowledge receipt of the Summary of the Conflict of Interest Statute. To continue to serve on
the Committee members must acknowledge receipt of the summary of the Conflict of Interest
Statute annually. This summary will be provided by and acknowledged by the Town Clerk.
2. Provide evidence to the Town Clerk that the appointee has completed the on -line train s
requirement required by the Conflict of Interest Statute. To continue to serve on t onarnitte' ,,
members must acknowledge completion of the on -line training requirement every ei& years. .
