The committeee on pay
for the Fire Department chosen
at the March Meeting would
report as follows,
We recommend that the
Town pay to Each of the Engine
companies the sum of two
hundred + fifty dollars $250 for
their services for the Year
ending May 1st 1872 provi-
ding that each company
shall number not less
than thirty active members,
[this section crossed out]and that the Town Treasurer
be authorized to pay to the
Treasurer of each of the
companies the above amount
at the expiration of the year as
above [end of crossed-out section]
