HomeMy WebLinkAbout2427 Bond of Hiram Weeks as Constable, March 20, 1868.Know all men by these presents, That we Hiram Weeks of Lexington, County of Middlesex and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as principal and S. W. Smith and A. W. Bryant both of said Lexington, as sureties, are held and firmly bound unto the Inhabitants of said Lexington, in the sum of Five Hundred ($500,) Dollars, to the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, and our being, Executors and Administrators, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals, dated this 20th day of March A.D. 1868. The condition of this obligation is such that whereas said Hiram Weeks has been duly chosen a Constable of said town of Lexington, for the current year and has accepted the office; now therefore if the said Hiram Weeks, shall faithfully perform his duties in the service of all civil processes committed to him, then this obligation shall be void; otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
