this Thirteenth day of April in the year 1854 by and
between the Selectmen of Lexington on the one part and
David Leavitt of Lexington on the other part.
Witnesseth -
That whereas there is a division fence needed on the
line that divides the School House lot of the Centre District
for the lot of the said Leavitt = it is now agreed that
the Easterly half from Waltham Street of said fence shall be
erected and supported by said Leavitt, and the westerly
half thereof by the Inhabitants of the Town of Lexington
And this agreement being recorded in the office of
the Town Clerk of the said town of Lexington shall be
perpetually binding upon the several owners of the said
lots, their heirs and assigns forever.
