A professional standards investigation has been completed with regards to the above allegation. Based
upon a thorough review of all the evidence available to me at this time, I have approved the following
adjudication:

_____UNFOUNDED - The allegation is false or not factual.
_____EXONERATED - The incident occurred, but the employee acted properly in accordance with law
and department policy and procedure.
_____NOT SUSTAINED - The allegation is not substantiated. There is not sufficient evidence to prove
or disprove the allegation.
_____MISCONDUCT - NOT BASED UPON THE ORIGINAL COMPLAINT – Misconduct that was not an
issue of the original complaint has been substantiated.
_____POLICY AND PROCEDURE FAILURE - Corrective action is needed in policies and procedures.
_____PERFORMANCE EVALUATION ISSUE – Minor incident directed to Commanding Officer.
