Corr, Chief of Police GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS AND GUIDELINES The formal structure of the Lexington Police Department shall be graphically displayed by the use of one or more organizational charts. The charts should reflect the Department’s chain of command and the lines of authority and communication within the agency. Chart A is the primary illustration of the Department’s chain of command and illustrates functional responsibilities of various components in the Department. Chart B depicts positions and names.
