Money Available as of 3/31/15 Income $71,135 Principal $139,787 2. Human Services: a. Human Services Report: September 16, 2014 to May 5, 2015. Charlotte Rodgers reported that fuel assistance requests were down this period compared to the same period for the prior year. Funds were provided for rent payments, utility bills, recreation scholarships (paid from the Recreation Enterprise Fund) and grocery cards. b. Ratify Human Services Request - $2,000 for back rent (Sept. 2014) – Ratified 4-0. c. Ratify Human Services Request - $1,000 for dental work (Oct. 2014) – Ratified 4-0. d. Ratify Human Services Request - $5,000 for Human Services Emergency Account (Nov. 2014) – Ratified 4-0. e. Ratify Human Services Request - $500 for Grocery Cards (Oct. 2014) – Ratified 4-0. f. Ratify Human Services Request - $1,255 for TJ Maxx Gift Cards (Nov. 2014) – Ratified 4-0. g. Ratify Human Services Request - $1,000 for TJ Maxx Gift Cards for Homeless (Dec. 2014) – Ratified 4-0. h. Ratify Human Services Request - $1,311.47 for Rent (Feb. 2015) – Ratified 4-0. i. Ratify Human Services Request - $825 Security Deposit and Key Change (April 2015) – Ratified 4-0. 3. Other Issues: a. Request for $7,450 for Center Spring Barrels ($6,600 for plantings and $850 for 10 new barrels). – Approved 3-0-1. b. Noted the letter regarding Estate of Claude Brenner. The Fund was mentioned in his will. c. Discussed the differences between the Fund for Lexington and the Human Services Fund and when each fund should be used. Will bring back to a later meeting. d. The Board noted that Father Colletti would be soon leaving Lexington and thanked him for his services on the Board. 4. Next Meeting The next meeting will be on September 29, 2015. 5.
