MINUTES
FUND FOR LEXINGTON BOARD
December 10 2018
4:30 p.m., Dawes Room, Town Offices
Present: Doug Lucente, Chair; Suzie Barry; Norman Cohen, Alan Fields, Paul Shupe, Alan
Wrigley and Melissa Interess, Acting Director of Human Services; Tony Serio, Assistant
Director of Family and Youth Services and Kim Katzenback, Executive Clerk to the Board of
Selectmen.
1. Money Available as of 11/30/18 Income $ 3,068.78
Principal $ 298,240.39
2. Human Services:
a. Human Services Report: September 1, 2018 to November 30, 2018
Melissa Interess reported on the activity for the period. The Fund dispersed $2,510 to
purchase TJX gift cards for families approved by the Human Services Holiday
Program. The Human Services Emergency Fund was used to purchase Market
Basket food cards and to provide assistance for two Eversource utility bills. Melissa
reviewed the Recreation Scholarship used for camps/clinics this season which
included ski)
b. Ratify Human Services Request - $2510 for TJX Holiday gift cards for families in
need - approved 6-0
3. Other Issues
a. Report on Annual request for Funds
The annual letter requesting donations for the Fund was sent in November. As of the
date of this meeting, $11,085 has been deposited.
4. Next Meeting
The next meeting is scheduled as follows:
March 11, 2019 at 4:30 p.m.

December 9, 2019
5. Approval of September 17, 2018 Meeting Minutes.
On a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 6-0 to approve the September 17,
2018 meeting minutes.
