Memorial Day Recap: • Gresh Lattimore suggested that a short training session for the Boy and Girl Scouts participating in the wreath laying ceremonies should be held prior to the parade. • Gresh also wondered if TCC should set a minimum age limit for participating scouts. • Linda Dixon suggested that we should have a stakeholders' meeting before Memorial Day. Participants should include the Captain of the Minutemen (concerning the length of the reading of General Logan's order),the Lexington High School Marching Band leader, and Sam Doran. • Committee agreed that we need to be clearer on our directions for the location of the HS band and others during the parade and wreath laying ceremonies. • Linda noted that not enough wreaths were provided this year due to a mix-up in communications and she suggested that committee members should check with Lorain if they have any questions about such issues. • It was suggested that since the weather is often hot on Memorial Day, bottled water should be kept in either the Grand Marshal's car or the VFW car to be available for marchers.
