April 25, 2019 Meeting Minutes
Members in Attendance: Sam Bosbach, Dan Strollo, Emma Burtenshaw, PJ Shui, Jenny

Approval of 3/21/19 Minutes: Approved
Principal's Report:
• Report out on Discipline Committee.
• Bin A behaviors that students will always be reported to admin
• Bin B behaviors are handled by the teacher
• Discussion about cell phones in class and Bin C behaviors
• Different classes have different expectations, getting students to understand that
it is ok to have different rules in different environments
• Data on discipline data was shared with the faculty
• Report on DC trip and local field trips. Everything went well.
• Punch list for construction project- still working out logistics on how to complete
Staff Report:
• Lots of 8th grade end of year activities
Member Input:
• Will there be a Taiwan trip for next year's 8th grade? What about Spanish students?
• Bicycle racks in the front have been overflowing. Is there a plan for more bike racks?
Could there be a temporary solution?
