MEETING MINUTES
April 30, 2019
The meeting of the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC), held in Parker
Room, 1625 Massachusetts Ave, was called to order at 7:23pm, by Co-Chair Sarah
Felton. CPAC members: Deepak Amenani, Stacy Beuttell, Matthew Daggett, Sarah
Felton, Camille Goodwin, Hema Bhatt, Carol Sue Hai, Leonard Morse-Fortier, and
Patrick Sullivan were present. The CPAC meeting was also attended by members of the
staff, Carol Kowalski, Molly Belanger, Julie Mercier, and Jeff Dietrich.
*********************Timeline/Process & Deliverables
Current timeline targets June/July 2020 for the completion of the comprehensive plan.
Surveying of residents will continue this summer.
Lexington Next website: the go-live date for the website is pending a decision on how to
administer surveys.
The CPAC will begin holding addition monthly meetings. The tentative schedule through
September is as follows:
May 15, May 28, June 5, June 25, July 3, July 30, August 7, August 27, September 4,
September 24.

CPAC reviewed presentations from the March 21 Housing Demographics and Trends
Public Meeting (https://www.lexin tog nma.gov/plannin -og ffice/pa esg /comprehensive-

Lexington Discovery Day—Saturday, May 25 - CPAC members will staff a table at
Discovery Day; Committee will develop questions to ask of residents to help inform
comprehensive planning process; Send ideas for questions to the planning staff by Friday,
May 3.
Working groups —working groups that have not presented yet are encouraged to begin
meeting to review data in preparation for their existing data and trends presentation.
The Economic Development trends meeting scheduled for May 16 at 7:30pm at the DPW
Cafeteria(201 Bedford St).
Town Planning staff will have a table to promote the Comprehensive Plan for Bike to
Work Day on May 17 on the Bike path 6-9:30am.

There will be a vote to approve the minutes for the April 2 meeting at the next meeting of
the CPAC on May 15.
ACTION: on a motion duly made and seconded the committee voted to adjourn at
9:13pm. All approved.
