Commissioners Absent: Associate Commissioners Present: David Kelland. Associate Commissioner Absent: Chair Robert Rotberg called the January 21, 2026 Historical Commission meeting to order at 7:00 pm. th AGENDA ITEM #1: Approval of meeting minutes of the meetings held on December 17, 2025 th Ms. Fenollosa made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting held on December 17, 2025 as amended. Ms. Bennett seconded. Motion carried with Mr. Kalsow abstaining. In favor, 5-0, chair voting in favor. AGENDA ITEM #2: Public Hearing regarding the Partial Building Demolition and Roof Line Change (Additions) at 4 Trotting Horse Drive APPLICANT (S) PRESENT: John (Chris) Chan-Tse, Contractor Arthur Chang, Owner ABUTTER(S) PRESENT: None DOCUMENT(S): Homeowner Letter: dated December 16, 2025 Comparison of Existing and Proposed Elevations: dated December 16, 2025 SUMMARY: John (Chris) Chan-Tse, contractor, explained the proposed additions plans for the historical structure at 4 Trotting Horse Drive. A new garage addition with a new primary suite above will be attached to the existing structure. Chair Mr. Rotberg suggested continuing this hearing to another month because it is not at the final phase. Historical Commission will need to review the plans after approval from Peacock Farm Association. This hearing will continue to another month as per owner’s request. AGENDA ITEM #3: Lexington Preservation Awards The Commission discussed the procedure of establishing the Lexington Preservation Awards with Chairwoman of Historic Districts Commission Lee Noel Chase.
