Open Session Minutes
January 13, 2026
A meeting of the Lexington Board of Assessors was called to order at 4:02p.m. on Tuesday, January 13th in the
Reed Meeting Room, Town Office Building. Gregory A Johnson, Chairman; Edmund C. Grant, Member; Casimir
Groblewski, Member; and Robert F. Lent, Director of Assessing, were present, as well as Michael E. Golden,
Assistant Director of Assessing; and Cheryl A. Draper, Administrative Assessor.
Public Comment Time: None present.
Vendor News & Views: None present.
Director's Report: None present.
VOTE: Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 3-0, by roll call, to allow the use of
the Board's signature stamps on Motor Vehicle Excise commitments and applications for calendar year 2026.
The Board approved and signed all Chapter Land Applications for FY 2027.
VOTE: Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 3-0 by roll call to adjourn the
Open Session of the meeting at 4:31 p.m. to enter Executive Session under Purpose 7 in order to deliberate
Appellate Tax Board Appeals. Further it was declared that an open meeting discussion may have a detrimental
effect on the litigation position of the town.
