• Current SIP Plan: Reviewed and shared updates related to Goal 2.
• Focus Areas:
• Moving away from traditional grading to show mastery of skills and content.
• Emphasis on executive functioning and learning processes.
• Current Actions:
• Teams creating systematic approaches.
• Counseling department collaborating with teachers on SEL skills.
• Interventionists working with content teachers to build executive function skills.
Updates & Initiatives
• DRUM Awards: Successful way to recognize students; new mascots introduced.
• Community Engagement: Upcoming pep rally; strengthening DRUM values across school.
• SASSY Team: Supporting trauma -informed classrooms; planning community day in June;
providing goals and action steps for teachers.
• Restorative Practices: School -wide circle practice for students; new for staff on community
day.
• Other Updates:
• Pep Rally scheduled for next Friday; mascots will be named.
• Mid -semester progress reports for students not making progress.
• Knives are in the cafeteria for students to use.
