Lexington.Wilmington Tri -Ton Coalition Advisory Board Meeting Meeting Minutes November 19, 2025 2:00 PM via Webex Attendees: Susan Lumenello, Director Burlington Board of Health, Shelly Newhouse, Director Wilmington Board of Health, Alicia McCartin, Director Lexington Board of Health, and Katie Capobianco, Shared Services Coordinator I. Approval of Minutes • Approval of September 17, 2025 meeting minutes - approved. II Presentation — Tahycha Soto- PHE Health Inspector/Tobacco Inspector • Tahycha was not feeling well and has been rescheduled to present at the March 18, 2026 meeting III Program Updates • Alicia advised that staff will be out from January to April and she would like to request Tahycha fill in. Susan asked Alicia to send an email request through the Tri -Ton email address requesting dates and what she is looking for Tahycha to do. 0 Susan said hopefully the new part-time PHE Health Inspector will be able to help with inspections or help with tobacco. • Alicia will email Tahycha inspections on a monthly basis to avoid conflicts with Burlington inspections. Alicia would prefer that Tahycha have set days that she will be in Lexington. Currently she works a half day on Mondays and a full day on Tuesdays. Alicia will let Susan know what the set schedule will look like for January to April. • Rebecca is working on Fall Risk Assessments and has been conducting them in Burlington and Wilmington. Shelly is very happy with the work Rebecca is doing in Wilmington. • Rebecca will be taking a certified lactation course to become a lactation counselor through the Healthy Children's project and looking into the possibility of opening a Baby Cafe for new mothers. She could also hold them in Lexington and Wilmington. Tri -Ton Coalition Advisory Board Burlington. Lexington.Wilmington • Rebecca can also do infant CPR for new moms. • Rebecca is working on a maternal/child resource list. Please let her know if anyone has anything they would like to add to the resource list. VI Update on Positions Offers have been made to the new Epi and Health Communication Specialist. They will both be starting after Thanksgiving. Susan said she will try to have them attend the Tri -Ton Advisory Board meeting in January, Susan has resumes for the Health Inspector position and will set up interviews soon. Susan said they did not receive too many resumes and she would like to have the new person train with Marlene Johnson, Burlington Health Inspector, as she has a training plan for new inspectors. Alicia said she would like to be part of the interview process and they also have a set health inspector training plan (Certified Professional Food Service Trainer) and could assist with the training of the new inspector. V New Business 0 Susan said they are looking into getting SAS for the Burlington office for the new Epi. Susan advised that the PHE grant can be used to pay the annual fee for Lexington's software, Win Warn. Alicia said the fee is already paid however, she will look into any additional fees for forms, etc. that the grant could cover. • Katie advised that she can do document translation that Alicia or Shelly may need done and the Propio phone number is available for any language translation services need.
