Agenda
I. Call to Order, Welcome, Council Business & Public Comment
• December 3 Meeting Notes Approval
• Public Comment
• Due to the ice storm, not enough members were present for quorum, thus no
vote to approve the last notes.
II. Parent/Caregiver, Staff, and Admin Check -Ins: December in Review:
• Parents:
i. Vote to approve new LHS occurred and passed
ii. Most people are happy with the outcome of the vote, but there is
discussion of increased cost for families.
• Staff:
i. Notice with the new "shut down" hours, especially for 6th grade, that
they are using the time the chromebook is on to get work done.
• Admin:
i. The technology survey regarding the chromebook shut down each
night is closed. Principals will be attending a meeting to discuss
results. If anyone has input, please let Mr. Despres know..
ii. Progress reports during the mid-term periods, we are looking to
streamline that process so that families become more familiar with the
process.
III. School Innovation Plan Updates for December `25
• Review the goals on the School Innovation Plan on the provided handout. On
the back side of the handout, are where goals #3 and #4 is.
• Goal #3 is Cultivating Student Agency.
i. Review of each of the bullets under goal #3
1. Set common norms so that the environment is safe and
supports ALL students.
2. Increase PBL (Project Based Learning) at each grade level
3. Review the Program of Studies to determine future elective
offerings.
ii. Review of each of the bullets under goal #4
1. Communicate and collaborate with staff and community in
developing a new SIP
2. Developing a cyclical cycle to review and update the
innovation plan.
IV. School Innovation Plan `26-'28 Work:
• Review KLDI Protocol Notes from our previous meetings
• Keep, Lose, Dream, Innovate (KLDI) Protocol for Goals 3&4
