Gregory Johnson, Chairman, Edmund C. Grant, Member, and Casimir Groblewski, Member, were present as well as Robert F. Lent, Director of Assessing, Michael E. Golden, Assistant Director of Assessing, Shawn Connolly, Residential Field Inspector, Barbara Sird, Residential Field Inspector and Sandra Pentedemos, Administrative Assessor Open Session Public Comment Time: Mr. Zivthan Dubrovsky of 33 Reed St presented his opinion of the assessment of his property. Vendor News & Views: None present. Director's Report: None present VOTE: Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 3-0 by roll call to adjourn the Open Session of the meeting at 4:15 p.m. to enter Executive Session under Purpose 7 in order to deliberate Real Estate Abatements, Statutory Exemptions, Commercial and Personal Property Abatements. Further it was declared that an open meeting discussion may have a detrimental effect on the litigation position of the town. 6:50 p.m. Motion to adjourn Executive and reconvening into Open Session was seconded and approved. VOTE: Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 3-0 by roll call to approve the recommendations for the Fiscal Year 2024 Statutory Exemptions. VOTE: Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 3-0 by roll call to approve the recommendations for the Fiscal Year 2024 Chapter 59 Section 59, Real Estate Abatement Applications. VOTE: Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 3-0 by roll call to approve the recommendations for the Fiscal Year 2024 Chapter 59 Section 59, Commercial Abatement Applications. VOTE: Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors voted 3-0 by roll call to approve the recommendations for the Fiscal Year 2024 Chapter 59 Section 59, Personal Property Abatement Applications. The Board of Assessors' next scheduled meeting will be held on April 23, 2024. There being no other business, a motion was duly made and seconded at 6:55 p.m. to adjourn the meeting.
