Call to Order – Housing Partnership Board, Expanding Housing Options Subcommittee- Ravneet Grewal a. Update on CPC funds and the yearly housing needs report 2. Questions and Old Business – All – 10 min a. Updates on the overarching goals of the committees: i. Develop a knowledge base for the Housing Partnership Board and other housing advocates to speak knowledgeably and confidently about the issues and possible solutions ii. As research is done, consider more than just the Select Board report; our goal is to create a one-stop place for housing questions, concerns, history, and future solutions. 3. Update on research topics – All – 15 min a. Paul has been able to conduct research that includes history of lot and frontage minimums and found himself surprised about the history. Please see his tab Expanding Housing Options b. Joyce has been able to use her real estate expertise and participation on the SPRD committee to better understand the barriers to expanding housing options. Please see her tab: Expanding Housing Options c. Charles Hornig is willing to comment and add his expertise and knowledge. 4. Workshop deliverable format – All – 15 min -Postponed 5. Adjournment—Ravneet Action items Joyce: Come up with set of questions for builders and for homeowners regarding their experiences building/modifying or adding ADUs, with a focus on the financial and policy-based barriers to their projects. Paul, continue to gather information on History of lot&frontage minimums Precedent initiatives around the country regarding these zoning aspects (later) Identify themes in what worked or didn’t work in these inclusionary initiatives.
