Lexington Design Advisory Committee Minutes from November 18, 2025
Attendance: Ian Adamson, Hema Bhatt, Chris Johns, Danit Netzer, Steven Vincent.
Danit opened the meeting and read the Agenda.
The committee reviewed last month’s meeting minutes for final approval.
Had a discussion on DAC Priorities with some of the following comments made:
● Try to get heard by decision making entities in town for design review.
● Try to have decision making bodies funnel plans through the DAC.
● How to advance the dialogue of architecture in town.
● Try to reach out to liaisons on Select Board and Planning Board
● Need to see if the proposed project is contextual to town surroundings.
● Ask Abby about aesthetics and other guidelines.
The following Priorities were agreed upon:
1. Make connections with town decision makers, and/or re-engage liaisons.
2. Projects we would like to review and provide input:
a. Multi-family housing
b. Public buildings
3. Provide input on architecture, aesthetics, building materials, contextual parameters and
other guidelines relevant to the project architecture, engineering and landscaping.
4. Communicate our advice in writing.
5. Try to submit often to make some inroads.
The Committee reviewed plans for 16 Clarke Street multi family housing project and comments
will be written up and submitted to the HDC and Planning Board.
The meeting was adjourned.
