I. Welcome
A. Introductions by members present

b) Monthly Meetings( will eventually involve other
stakeholders) - Staff, Student and Parent/Caregiver

3. Review of Site Council Mission
a) Make recommendations for overall improvement of
the school and develop the SIP
b) Track progress on implementation of 2 year SIP
c) LPS 2 Year Innovation Plans
(1) Address and narrow equity gaps
(2) Define Success
(3) Cultivate Student Agency
(4) Innovate for Sustainable Change
II. Approval of Minutes From Previous Meeting

1. Question- should there be in person meetings this year as
this practice has been successfully in the past
C. Parents
1. Questioned if 30 minutes will be enough time for meeting
especially around the budget, Mr. Rough would like a
meeting focused on review of budget
a) Meetings will be longer in the future around 4S
minutes
2. Shift in Lunch- it would have been good to give notice to
families before school for change in lunch. Had to make
changes because of safety and the increase of students.
There will be a survey for staff and students on lunch, there
is a consideration to shift to lunch based on discipline, for
information will come after the survey

A. Next Meeting: Will review the KLDI from teachers with site
council during next meeting
1. Review current innovation plan
2. Review the staff KLDI from June
3. Bring calendars so we can schedule one or two in-person
meetings, as well as potential focus groups
4. Review previous years Site Council Meetings Minutes
