A meeting of the Lexington School Committee was held on Monday,
January 11, 1988 at 8:00 p.m. in the School Administration Building.
Present were: Koplow, Leader, Newman, Wik and Clough. Also present
was Barnes.
A discussion and review of the seven semifinalists was conducted. SUPERINTENDENT
The School Committee reviewed the candidacies of Dr. John Davis, Dr. FINALISTS
Daniel Freeman, Dr. Gerald Kohn, Dr. Elizabeth Morie, Dr. John
Hoeffler, Dr. Arlene Reiger and Dr. Philip Geiger. After discussion,
it was
VOTED: to approve the following four as finalists: Dr. John Hoeffler,
Dr. John Davis, Dr. Gerald Kahn and Dr. Philip Geiger.

Mrs. Wik reviewed the schedule for site visits and highlights of CANDIDATES' SITE
the return visits of the candidates that were to commence approximate- VISITS
ly January 25 with a conclusion of the process and appointment by
February 12 but no later than the week of February 22. It was
VOTED: to adjourn at 10:25 p.m. (Wik, Newman, Unanimous)
