A meeting of the Lexington School Committee was held on Tuesday,
December 22, 1987 at 8:00 a.m. in the School Administration Building.
Present were Koplow, Leader, Newman, Wik and Clough. Also present
were Zimmerman and Barnes.
The School Committee reviewed possible appointees to the Citizen/ SUPERINTENDENT
Staff Advisory Committee who would interview the finalists for the SEARCH
position of Superintendent of Schools. After discussion, the follow-
ing individuals were selected: Staff; Dolores Donovan, Joseph Kelly,
Bruce MacDonald, Bruce Mallory, Debra Packard, Cheryl Prescott and
Bruce Storm, alternates, Deborah Perry and Sylvia Schatz; Citizens;
Jane Attanucci, Tom Delbanco, Dan Fenn, David Kaloupek, Mary Neumeier,
Phyllis Sonnenschein and Al Wang, alternates, Elizabeth Leutz and
Peter Mackie; Students; Janet Doherty and Ned Goodell, alternate Chip
Giller.
It was
VOTED: to accept the names listed above. (Leader, Newman, Unanimous)
VOTED: to convene in Executive Session at 8:23 a.m. to discuss mat- EXECUTIVE SESSION
ters pertaining to collective bargaining. Yes, Leader; Yes,
Koplow; Yes, Newman; Yes, Wik; Yes, Clough.
The Chairman announced that the School Committee would not be re-
turning to Public Session.
