A meeting of the Lexington School Committee was held on Monday,
June 15, 1987 at 8:15 a.m. in the School Administration Building.
Present were: Koplow, Leader, Newman, Wik and Clough. Also present:
Barnes.
Each member of the School Committee reported on their reference SUPERINTENDENT
checks as to the services provided to other clients by consultants SEARCH
being considered for the consultant in the Lexington superintendent
search. After a comprehensive discussion of each of the proposals and
fee structures. It was
VOTED: to appoint P.N.R. Associates as the consultant firm For the
new superintendent search process for the Lexington Public
Schools. (Leader, Wik, Unanimous)
Mrs. Wik suggested that Dr. Plath visit as Soon as possible to
start the process. Mr. Clough said he would contact Dr. Plath regard-
ing the focal point of the proposal and see what could be implemented
immediately.
No other action was taken in the matter.

VOTED: to adjourn at 9:04 a.m. (Wik, Leader, Unanimous)
