A meeting of the Lexington School Committee was held on Monday,
June 1, 1987 at 8:30 a.m. in the School Administration Building.
Present were: Koplow, Leader, Newman, Wik and Clough. Also present: -
Barnes.
Mr. Clough announced the purpose of the first segment of the meet- SUPERINTENDENT'S
ing was to develop final procedures for interviewing consultants with SEARCH

the School Committee discussed specific questions that each would ask
regarding organizational structure of the consultant, networking, pro-
cesses for recruitment, etc.
At 9:00 a.m. the Lexington School Committee welcomed Robert Fraser CONSULTANT ROBERT
from the firm of Stoneman, Chandler and Miller. He outlined his pro- FRASER
posal for his rola and the School Committee's role in a model search
for a superintendent, of schools.
After his presentation, the School Committee asked Mr. Fraser
questions regarding his ideas for the composition of public interview
committee, visitation and interview procedures, final interview pro-
cedures and fees associated with the search.
The School Committee thanked Mr. Fraser for his comprehensive pre-
sentation and notified him that they would be meeting with two addi-
tional consultants after which they would be in contact with him as to
their appointment of a consultant.
