HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961-03-18-BOS-min 400 - y S T EC TMEN'S MEETING March 18, 1961 A meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held in the Selectmen' s Room, Town Office Building, on Saturday, March 18, 1961, at 9:30 P.M. Chairman Morey, Messrs. Adams, Ferguson and Richards were present . Mr. Adams was elected Secretary pro tem. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate precinct meeting in preparation for Town Meeting. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the offer of $28,000 for the Hagerty pro- Hagerty party; the Hagertys to remain in occupancy until May property 1, 1961 and thereafter for thirty days, after notice to vacate, until December 31, 1961 (Whichever shall be first) rent free . Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve recommendations of the Traffic Study Com- Traffic mittee made at the meeting of March 13, 1961. (Curb parking for Bedford Street and corner of Vine Brook Road. ) , and to amend the Traffic Rules and Regulations. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to make the following appointments for terms expiring March 31, 1962 unless otherwise noted: ANNUAL APPOINTMENTS Annual Director of Civil Defense Arthur E.
