The small beech tree that is somewhat in the trail will not be removed - it is on Town land and would require a Notice and a Hearing to do so. Don and Keith have a spreadsheet for the route markings and will be ready to install in the spring. • Bridge School trail NOI - Jordan McCarron is reviewing the submission and will follow up. He has an Eagle Scout interested in the project. • Fairland St project - Susan communicated with Mark Barons. He is working on ADA require- ments, and reports that some neighbors do not want a trail as he has proposed it. Current Business: • Proposed work for 2019 - Discussed several possible options for future Routes. • Juniper Hill is out of the way, but could possibly be connected with landowner permission. Peggy will reach out to Robert Rotberg on Barberry Rd. There is other private property that we would need permission to use also for that route. • Another upcoming option (ID#3) is a Connector route between Daisy Wilson Meadow and Dunback Meadow. This could also connect Route B and Route C making a big loop, includ- ing Rockville Ave and Summit Rd. Will need to work with principal at Bowman School - do we need a policy for crossing school property during school hours? We do need to notify abutters when signs are going up. • There is a pond off Solomon Pierce Rd (ID#13) that would be a nice stop on a Connector be- tween Arlington Great Meadow and Lower Vine Brook. Permission will be needed from the Town of Arlington. It could be possible to connect through behind the Harrington School and a Town parcel off Woburn St. This could connect Route C and Route G at Lower Vine Brook. This is more likely to be in the 5-year plan, and should be walked with Karen Mullins and Conservation Commission. New Business: none at this time Pending Items: • just planning for spring! Next Meeting: February 21, 2019, 4:30-6:OOpm, Ellen Stone Room Future meeting dates: Mar 21, Apr 18 (vacation week), May 16, Jun 13 (2nd Thursday) Respectfully Submitted by Alexandra Dohan, Secretary
