A meeting of the Lexington School Committee was held on March 19,
1979, at 7:00 p.m. , in the School Administration Building. Those in
attendance were: Brown, Michelman, Shaw, Gaudet. Also present were:
Lawson, Maclnnes, Monderer, Barnes, Pierson, DiGiammarino.
Mr. Brown welcomed the members of the Appropriations Couuuittee. 1979-80
He announced to the members of the Appropriations Committee that the BUDGET
School Committee would make further budget reductions of $61,290.
Mr. Brown then outlined the items that were to be reduced.
After a brief discussion, the Appropriations Committee noted
that they were pleased with the reductions but could not yet state
whether they would recommend the school budget at the Town Meeting
or not. Mr. White said they would take the new budget under advise-
ment prior to the Town Meeting that evening.

VOTED: to adjourn at 7:44 p.m. (Michelman, Gaudet, Unanimous)
