He presented an overview of each course COURSES and said that the courses would begin at 1:30 and end at 3:30 p.m. un- less otherwise noted. He explained that courses were organized so that they would be engaging, useful and of sufficiently limited enrollment to allow a high degree of participation. He also noted that they were mandatory sessions for elementary teachers unless other arrangements were made for staff members by the principal. In summary, he stated that there would be a system-wide 10 week course in Interracial Aware- ness being offered from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. with college credit being available at cost to participants through Lesley College. Dr. Monderer noted that these figures were the amounts of money specifically charged to 766 but the actual claim went beyond the figures submitted due to the fact that percentages of all teachers' time were included 'in the request for reimbursement which were not reflected in these expenses. Dr. Lawson told the school committee that the Selection Committee ADMINISTRATOR had completed its task of interviewing for the position of Administrator OF SPECIAL of Special Education. He said that a recommendation vnuld be made at EDUCATION the next school committee meeting.
