The regular meeting of the Lexington School Committee came to order at 9:00 a.m.
at the school administration building. Present were Mesdames Berchtold, Swanson,
Messrs. Brown, Wadsworth and Dr. Fobert.
It was MOVED to go into Executive Session at 9:05 a.m. to discuss a personnel
matter. (Wadsworth, Brown, Unanimous)
The School Committee moved to open session at 10:40 a.m. to take the following
action:
It was
VOTED: To appoint Dr. Herold C. Hunt consultant to the School Committee, for an
approximate fee of $1500, to conduct a search for a Superintendent of Schools
and to expect him to coordinate his efforts with an Advisory Committee of five
citizens who will serve to broaden the base in the search for and the interviewing
of candidates. (Wadsworth, Brown, Unanimous).
The meeting adjourned at 10:45 a.m.
