4 Rowland Avenue: Patrick and Laura Swanson, exterior changes in the Munroe Tavern District. On a
motion duly made and seconded, the proposed alteration was approved unanimously as proposed.

ACTION ITEMS:

Review and determination vote for owner response to cited construction alterations at 1024
Massachusetts Avenue: Unauthorized changes to the HDC approved plans were reviewed. The
Commission determined that the contractor made significant changes that would not have been approved
by the HDC. The Chair will instruct the Building Commissioner, as enforcement agent, to fine the
contractor. This matter will be reviewed further at the December 6, 2018 meeting date.
Meeting minute's approval: On a motion duly made and seconded, meeting minutes of October 4, 2018
were unanimously approved as written
Review of current conditions and future location of Hosmer House: During the upcoming renovation
of the Police Station, the Hosmer House will need to be moved. All Commissioners noted concern that if
relocated, the dwelling would be neglected. It was suggested that the dwelling have a functional use after
the transition. The HDC will discuss this matter further with the Board of Selectmen.
