luane 24tka in the First Floor Conference Room, Gary Memorial Building,
on the application of the Parish of Ghuboh of Our Redeemer for the
erection of two signs. Present were Commissioners Worthen, 5: ith,
Taylor, Parsons and Associate kember Arnold Howard.. Pur.rorthen
was voted as Chairman pro tempera. Representing the applicant were
Mr.Donald Legro and Rev.Harold Handley.
Mr, ,'Uorthen read the notice.
Mr. Handley said that if possible , they would like to have both
signs approved as they were not certain which one they will eventually
use. WTiohever one is chosen will be in duplicate® i.e . , same
sign can each side of doors. Cold leaf will be used on the cross
if not prohibitive in price. Back edges, circle and all letters
will be blue gray to match doors of Church. Front face white. Signs
are 31871 wide by 2® high.
Mr. Handley said he was very certain the Church was in a R-1
district.
Mr. Parsc:ns asked hoer far out the signs would oor.e and was told
about gas.
They may possibly use bolts to secure the signs instead of the
archers, depending oncost.
Dearing adjourned at 8z00 P.M.
It was voted to approve the signs as shown or, drawLig -1741, as
submitted by the applicant.
