The Historic Districts Commission met May 7, 1958 in the
Selectmen' s Room to hold three hearings. Present were
Messrs. Davis, Parsons , 'Taylor and Associate Members Howard
and Mrsaerriam.
FOSTERS- 7:30 P.M. - Mr. Davis read the notice. Mr.Foster
was of the impression that where the only change in the r.ign
at 1832 Mass.Ave. was a change in lettering, he did not have to
have a certificate. Mr.Davis said he had cleared this pont
with Mr. Stevens and hence the need:for the hearing It was
unanimously voted to grant this certificate.

Mr.Hobert Kent said they wish tc repaint the house ( parsonage )
and garage at 1 Harrington Rd. The walls will be white , the olinds
will be a Dark Green No. 691 Hancock Permovite non-fading trim
colors as manufactured by the Hancock Paint 6 Varnish Co. of
i'orth C?,uincy,Ts ass. Painter will be Mr. =•arsnall. The signs on
the parsonage will not be changed at all. 'indow Sashes be
white and door will be same color as binds. Screen: will be
black. The blinds will oe the same shade and same paint
and designation as previously painted. Certificatr will be ,granted.
FELIX REALTY TRUST-8:50 P.M. - Mr. DEzvis read the notice .
The building at 6-3 Muzzey Et. ;fill use hardware from Schlage Lock
Co. Design Plymouth. Paint will be Dover Gray No. 224 az
manufactured by Pratt & Lambert, Inc. A sample of the wrought
iron railing was brought in and this will b€ painted black.
The walls of the huilding are stained. The door will oe black.
white trim will be used on sachet:. There are no screens on

There are four suites at present in the building and each suite Pas
3 offices. Certificate will be granted.
Hearings adjourned at 8: 45 P.M.
GENERAL- Mr.Parsons said Mr. Dearborn of Zeeland. Realty has
shown him a sample of the Maroon color he wants to .s e on the sign.
This is O.K.
Mr. John MacNeil had sibrnitted r letter enclosing sketch of the
sign he wants to use on the new building at 15 Depot Sc. Mr.MacNeil
bras reached by telephone nd came in to answer gone questions
rewarding this. He would like to use the words 'Liberty Building"
