he Historic Districts Commission held a hearing on
Monday, April 14, 1958 at 7.30 P.M. in the First Floor
Conference Roam, Cary Memorial Building on the
application of Howard W, ewell. of 12 Clarke St. for a
certificate of appropriateness for the razing; of a shed.
Present were kessrs. avis, amith, Parsons , 'Taylor and
Edwin Worthen, Jr.
Mrs. Newell said the, wanted to take down the old
carriage hawse or shed. They had thought of converting
it into a garage but this was not possible , There
were no questions.
1t was voted to Errant this certificate.

On receipt of a letter from Mrs. Godshall of 4 Percy Rd.
Mr. Parson, went up and examined the c: R.ors they want to
put on .the Muse. These: were approved and a letter
sent to Mrs.Oodshall .
The letter going out to Mr. Chayes regarding his property
was read.

for the erection of a new sign and the First Congregational
Society of Lexington have; applied for a certificate for
repainting; the house, garage and sigma of the house at
1 Harrington Rd.Lexingt n. These two hearings will be held
Wednesday, May 7th in the Selectmen's Room. .Fo:aterfs
