HomeMy WebLinkAbout1958-03-05 March 5, 1958 A meeting of the Historic Districts Commission was held March 5 , 1958 at 7:30 P.M. in the Selectmen's Room. Due to the fact that MIr.R-asell Kettell is in the hospital after an operation., the hearing had to be postpon d on the application for a certificate of appropriateness of John M. Gea han of 16 Tavern Lane for the erection of a wrought iron fence . As both of our alternates were away$ a hearin?, was impossible. An application has been received from the Lexington Field and Garden Club who wish to place markers on the trees on the grounds, of Buckman tavern and the Lexington Green. An application for another hearing has been received from the Hancock Congregational Church. It was decided to hold these three hearings on one night, Wednesday# April 2nd. The hearing on Geaghan will be held at 7.30 P.R.; the Lexington Field and Garden Club at 8:00 and the Hancock Congregational Church at 8:30 P.Me If possible, we wi---hed to get Estabrook Full but ( NOTE FROM, CLERK) this is Impossible so the hearings will be held in the SELEC=X1R ROOM[ with extra chairs. teFilhelmina G.Tomas Note to Mrs.Merriam and Mfr.Howard4 Please note these hearings and be sure to Ict me '-now if you can attend.
