A quorum of five was present. Members Present: Mark Sandeen, Chair Marcia Gens, Dan Voss, Rick Reibstein, Todd Rhodes Members Absent: None Other Attendees: Kris Spriano, Anthony Clough The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm. Review of Upcoming Events (M. Sandeen) • May 171h: Gas Leaks Forum • May 201h Bike, Walk Day (Mark, Todd until lam, Marcia at 8:30) • May 281h: Discovery Day Discovery Day Planning (M. Sandeen) • Partner with Mothers Out Front • SLC Topics: • Solar Task Force • Community Choice • New Building Programs —Integrative Design • T. Rhodes to reach out to Mass Save to see it we can sign folks up for HEAs. • Sign up potential new committee members and interested folks ■ Have sign-up sheet for interested participants • Physical Layout: • T. Rhodes to work with S. Rosner, L. Fitzgibbons, and M. Gans to create a banner for the two tents. Make them modular for future use. • Need tents • M. Sandeen to provide posters from last year. • Coverage: • Rick(all day) • Dan (9 to 11) • Todd(setup, 11 to 1pm, break-down) • Kris (1 to 3pm) Gas Leak Meeting (M. Sandeen) • M. Sandeen to send email to J. Pato and C. Valente to identify who from staff(DPW, Police, Fire) should attend to address National Grid objections to fixing leaks. • Ideally have staff identify policies first before National Grid to make it clear that not all leaks get fixed. Page 1 of 2 • The request to National Grid will be to have them identify super-emitters. Community Choice Aggregation (M. Sandeen) • Selected Peregrine to serve as our broker. • Targeting implementation in January 2017. • Plan is to go with-4% local green energy and the rest national wind energy. Solar Task Force (D. Voss) • Plan to implement in the next 9 months. It needs to be mechanically complete by January 8, 2017 to get SRECs. • Breaking ground in May.
