Sustainable Lexington Committee
Minutes of Meeting of August 20, 2018
A meeting of the Sustainable Lexington Committee (SLC) was held at Cary Hall. A
quorum of five was present.
Members Present: Mark Sandeen, Marcia Gens, Todd Rhodes
Members Absent: Rick Reibstein, Dan Voss
Other Attendees: Charlie Wyman, Joe Pato (Board of Selectmen)
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm.
1. Sustainable Action Plan
1.1. Reviewed the plan and made additional edits/additions.
1.2. The committee made updates to the projects and introduction.
1.3. The committee voted unanimously to recommend that the Board of Selectmen
approve the Sustainable Action Plan.
2. Net Zero Emissions Report
2.1. The committee voted unanimously to recommend that the Board of Selectmen
approve the Net Zero Emissions Report.
3. Sustainable Building Policy
3.1. The committee reviewed the policy. Mark will provide an updated draft to the
committee to review before submitting to Joe to review with the Policy
Committee.
