Sustainable Lexington Committee
Minutes of Meeting of May 22, 2018
A meeting of the Sustainable Lexington Committee (SLC) was held at Cary Hall. A
quorum of five was present.
Members Present: Mark Sandeen, Marcia Gens, Rick Reibstein, Todd Rhodes,
Dan Voss
Members Absent: None
Other Attendees:
• Charlie Wyman
• Joe Pato, Board of Selectmen
• Celis Brisbane
The meeting was called to order at 7:15 pm.
1. Green Building Council activities (C. Brisbane)
• Green Building Council is working on a RFP to DOER. The program will
involve 9 sites statewide. The cost sharing is —$70k/site.
• The objective is research to assess cost/benefit of roof retrofit and PV install on
residential home.
2. Annual Goals (M. Sandeen)
2.1. Need to write up goals for Sustainability Director to support implementation of
Building Policy, Action Plan, Net Zero Roadmap.
2.2. D. Voss recommended that as part of the Building Policy we add "in line with
resilience plan".
