Announcement: Charlotte Rodgers will be retiring November 30, 2018

Approval of Meeting Minutes:The September 2018 minutes were approved.
Veteran Services Overview by Gina Rada,Veteran Services' District Director
• Veteran's Day activities: Breakfast at St Brigid's 11/3 at 8:30. Tickets free but required, available
10/10 at Community Center and Michelson's Shoes will have slide show of Lexington Vets.
• Parade 11/11 at IPM followed by ceremony at Cary Hall with a panel discussion of 1001h
anniversary of WW1.
• Her role is to provide services to veterans and their dependents through connection to state and
federal programs. https://www.lexingtonma.gov/veterans-services
• Hearing aids are available at no cost through the VA.
Lunch workgroup report-seniors would like a 4th day lunch, not possible due to cost. Current options:
1 special lunch monthly, brown bag lunch or coffee weekly;group awaiting seniors input.
